My 11-year old son is a Warcraft buff, and he says this is the place to be:

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/beginners/index.html

Have you tried out this site yet?

Http://www.thottbot.com is probably the best one place for you: it got
pictures showing exactly where appear all monsters, how to complete
each quest, where to start quests, etc). Anyway, you can also look at
those sites, with specifical guides to lvl up from starting lvls:

- Http://wowvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.List
- Http://www.power-leveling.com/
- Http://wow.warcry.com/index.php/content/guides/index.html

You can also check this one for a very complete guide of all the game,
step by step:

Finally, you could also try:

They lvl up your character 24 hours a day for a reasonable price, and
you get a top lvl character in a few weeks.

I'm a gamer, and I have an active World of Warcraft account.

I think that the priorities for players have several levels.
A) Level up quickly
Leveling up quickly for the first 30 levels is done exclusively
through questing. By far the best guide, with maps, start and
completion locations is: http://wow.gamepressure.com/quests.asp

It takes approvimately 80 hours of actual in front of the computer
time to progress from level 1 to the cap of 60. For an average player
this may take weeks.

There are powerleveling services that will do it in 10-14 days. Sites
like http://www.GovernorGamer.com (Going live in just a few weeks!)
will provide you with bags, gold, gear and equipment. You just
purchase the leveling service thats appropriate, sit back, and log it
with a completed character after about 10 days.

B) Become familiar with the game environment
Once you hit level 30, it's time to start grinding monsters. A great guide is here:
http://www.wow-pro.com/Forums/viewtopic/p=1488.html

C) Have enough gold to but gear as you level up
If you do either of the above you should have several hundred gold.

Also think of professions that you can do for gold. Depending on your
class you can pick herbalism/alchemy, enchanting/tailoring ... They
can all make money and they require almost no money to begin.

Good luck and see ya in-game!
The Gov

Doing the quests will get you familiar with the game, open up flight
paths (how you travel in the game), and teach you how to play your
character well.
