Sure.

Have you noticed that many people cannot even understand fully what
you are telling them if it was noisy around you? Have you not
experienced the same? Have not yet said to anybody, "Sorry, I cannot
hear you well, it's too noisy in here."?

If we cannot hear what is being told us, how can we understand it? If
we cannot understand it, how can we memorize it?
Details? What details? Cannot even understand it. Cannot even hear it correctly.

Oh, you mean what about memorizing what we read?
I don't know about others, but I cannot cocentrate on my reading if
it's too noisy around me. If I cannot concentrate, I cannot
understand. If I cannot understand, I cannot memorize. Etc...
(I normally hear music from my iPod through headphones while I am
reading, or watching TV, or messing around some Internet forums, yes,
but for me, music is not noise. Rap is, okay, but I skip them (it?)
when I am concentrating.)

Of course there are also a few who are not affected by noise. I am not
sure, but maybe even their ability to memorize, in details too, what
they read is not affected too.
The deaf people.
(You talk to them by sign language. They read your animation.)
