Question ID: 585830
Is there any other cartoon, apart from The Family Proud, movie or tv series in
which the authors deal (in one episode or in the whole series) with
the intellectual property issue?

For example, as far as you know, is there any other cartoon, movie
or tv series in which the authors convey an anti-file-sharing message as happened
in the EZ Jackster episode of The Family Proud series?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

There is at least one episode of South Park in which the issue of song
sharing by P2P is addressed. But the message is not *clearly* that
it's bad to do so. (It's also not perfectly clearly said that it's
good either.)

In the episode, Kyle & Kenny need songs for a project, and try
downloading some over P2P. Of course, South Park being what it is,
they are immediately accosted by the Feds and taken on a Dickens-like
journey, where they see the consequences of stealing food from the
artists' mouths. The ambiguity in the message arises from the fact
that the hardships being imposed upon the recording artists are such
things as having to buy slightly smaller yachts, and waiting a few
more months for those solid gold plumbing fixtures.

Very funny, though not clearly what you're looking for.

Well, it's not, but anyway it's interesting to see that
this kind of messages are conveyed through "supposedly
entertainment works" more often than one might expect to.
