I would like to download and save this streaming media file from Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/gp/film-festival/tribeca-films.html/104-5830228-2948750?track=5

I haven't been able to. I am happy to buy software that will let me
save it and play it back, especially in a larger window. Any ideas?

richard...

The sad fact is that you can't save a streamed video, which
is why they set it up that way. The .swf file optimistically
referred to by who3ver-ga is only a 56kb shell for the
streamed media, named filmfestivalepsilon[1].swf in your
internet cache. The streamed video is obviously a much larger
file.

Streaming, by its nature, doesn't give you access to a filename,
which means that downloading isn't possible. If you want a look
at the language for the streaming process, load this page into
your browser:
http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/features/film-festival-2/interim/xml/1.jpg

Surprise! It's not a picture, but the streaming instructions.

Let me know where this takes you...

Start menu
Setting
Control Panel
Internet options
Settings
view Files
you will find the .swf file in there.....you might have a Gazillion
files in the folder that pops up. Just delete all the files in that
folder then RELOAD the page that has the video and you will find the
.SWF file suddenly appear in the "empty" folder. Now copy it and
paste it on your desktop and voila.
