I have an email list of several thousand subscribers to my email
newsletter. I am wondering if there are any programs or software that
will let me sort these addresses in domain name order and/or which
will tally the number of subscribers by domain name. For example, it
would take an address such as joe@mydomain.com and sort/list it by
"mydomain.com". I'm not looking for anything elaborate, just
something that'll let me see where my subscribers are coming from.

If you are familiar with a spreadsheet program like Excel, this is a
pretty straightforward task.

Save your list as a .txt file.

When you open that file as a spreadsheet, you'll get a pop-up box
asking how you want to import the file. Identify the @ sign as a
character used to separate columns (in other words, 'joe' will show up
in the first column, and 'mydomain.com' will be in a separate column).

You can then sort the spreadsheet data by domain names, to easily
count up all the 'mydomain.com' addresses.

Make sense?

Let me know if that works out for you.
