I am looking for complete sets of the original "The Toy World Test"
(or "The World Test") developed by Charlotte Buhler. Between 1941 and
1955, sets were made and distributed in the U.S., Germany, and France.
The basic set consists of 150 miniatures (people, animals, houses,
trees, vehicles, etc.) and a manual; the advanced set includes 300
pieces. It is used as a psychological-diagnostic tool workign with
young children. Back in 1949, the sets were distributed by Joyce B.
Baisden, 4370 Mont Eagle Place, Los Angeles, California. I would also
be interested in any up-to-date research on the test.
