Hello,

I have heard that one can send faxes from my computer. I know of
the services online like www.efax.com. But I want to fax using a
software and my fax modem (with which I conncet to the internet). My
question is if I send the fax using software and my fax modem, will I
be charged the regular ISP connection charge or will I be charged the
telephone fax charges (i.e. the charge associated in regular faxing by
fax machine)?

You'll be charged the telephone fax charges because when you input the
fax number to which the fax is to be sent, the modem dials that fax
number, NOT the ISP number.
