I have received a ticket from GO Transit for "Travel with Altered Ticket" and I need advise on how to challenge this ticket. I was holding a 10-ride ticket pass which was taped. The day's ticket-canceling stamp was on the taped part. According to their BY-LAW NO. 2, section 21A altering a ticket is not permitted. I need supporting material to defend myself that scotch taping a ticket does NOT count as altering. Thanks, Ali |
