Hi,

AS you know (or may not know)Itunes is now selling music videos.
I've downloaded one to try it out and it did not work right. The video
keeps stopping & re-starting from the point of the last pause in the
video. I have the latest ver. of itunes and all of my windows updates.
I run windows xp have 512 of memory.Does anybody know how to fix this
problem?

Are you saying that the download is stopping and re-starting,
or that you completed the download, and the video is stopping
and re-starting during playback.

If it's the latter, given the satellite connection, it may be
that the download was interrupted and resulted in a corrupt
file. Do you have the option to download again, given that
you've paid for it?

i just went to www.maniatv.com/musictv/ and their video clips work
fine! my download speed is anywhere from 450 to 260 depending on what
time of day i'm online.

It downloaded fine without stopping. It's the playback. Please look at
my other clarification notice about maniatv.com video clips.

                     Thanks, Roy
P.S. Itunes let me download it again (free this time) but during
playback it's doing the same thing.

Roy...

You must be a pioneer with this bug. I'm not seeing any evidence
that others are having the same experience. Perhaps a call or an
email to iTunes tech support will be helpful. Sorry I couldn't
find anything.

See if this works. Right click on the video, click options, and make
sure 'Stop Time' and 'Start Time' are unchecked.

When I right-click on the video the only thing that come up is "copy".

try reinstalling your graphics card drivers

Don't worry about your graphics drivers, if it plays from a website
then it's most likely iTunes. If I recall, the video playback is based
around quicktime. I would update quicktime first
(http://www.apple.com/quicktime/win.html) and then open it up outside
of iTunes. Make sure those preferences are correct. It's odd that it
acts choppy as I believe the videos download completely when you buy
them, then they play. In any case, Quicktime is most likely the
problem.

Also- under preferences (in Quicktime), go to Advanced and make sure
the directdraw is enabled. If it is not, then update your drivers.
