I have located a needle for you. I telephoned Garage-A-Records, in Cromwell, Indiana, and spoke with a customer service representative who informed me that the Shure M99E needle is now called the Shure N104E. Garage-A-Records has this needle in stock, new and factory-fresh from Shure, for $23.95, plus $2.50 shipping. GARAGE-A-RECORDS P.O. Box 400 11695 N. PIED PIPER PKW. CROMWELL, IN 46732 PHONE (Toll Free) : 1-888-800-7597 (11 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday) EMAIL: records-needles@kconline.com http://www.garage-a-records.com/shurestylus.html At the Shure Website, I verified that the M99E stylus is now known by the designation N104E. http://www.shure.com/selectionguides/xrefphono.html My Google search strategy: "SHURE" + "M99E" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=SHURE+M99E Best wishes from a fellow vinyl fan! ~pinkfreud |

I was ready to junk my turntable for a cheaper model because no one could locate the needle I requested. You have saved me a lot of money plus I kept my better turntable. And you did it by return e-mail. Wonderful! I heartily recommend you. Thanks. Ed |
