I recently bought a suit at Kohl's. Not expensive, but money is money. The brand name is Dockers, a well-known brand. It's wool polyester blend. It's medium gray, a little lighter than charcoal, The coat is two button, single vent, nothing very unusual about the cut. The finish of the fabric is not rough or fuzzy, not shiny. Pretty average for wool-poly suit. I fell down the stairs and tore the pants, beyond repair. I need to find matching pants. Fortunately, the pants and coat are sold separately. Unfortunately, department stores and web sites stock merchandise like this haphazardly. Often, department stores buy this kind of thing once a year, for the whole season. For this reason, driving around town to find a matching pair of pants, same size, is likely to be a wild goose chase. The pants size is 32X30. It's hard to figure out any style or color code from the label, though it's probably on there somewhere, The label on the pants says, exactly: 32X30 55% ployester 45% wool Made in Colombia Dry clean Only WPL 8709 SL-P24 FWIW, the label on the coat says the same, except the last line is WPL 8709 970G Come to think of it, WPL probably stands for wool polyester, but I don't know if that indicates the style, the color, or both. Please help me find a matching pair of pants on a reputable web site. Thanks, Flurbyboy |

You probably still need more info. On their website it says their is a nine digit product number. They also have a pants finder where you can pick styles by making choices. http://www.us.dockers.com/fal05a/dockers/home/d_home.jsp?JSESSIONID=DlbAYbewCPQHXV5490sswuvpFC2pxh1sKiWWe718d7rVXHYU5eCv!958826386!-1407564313!7005!8005 This is what came up when I entered part of that code. Good Luck |

Hi, It's me, the original poster, flurbyboy. Silly username, huh? At least it doesn't have random numbers in it! Thanks to indiangiver1, I've found the answer. Thanks so much! I don't need help anymore, but I think cancelling the question might erase the thread. I want to thank indiangiver, and clue others who might be thinking about answering this, or have a similar concern of their own. I'll withdraw the question in a day or two. Or maybe I'll try it now and try to find out if the whole thread gets erased. This product is manufactured by a third party by Dockers. Dockers only sells it to Kohl's. It's not listed on Dockers website or Kohl's website, and Kohl's doesn't have a mailorder business or catalog. Kohl's does keep this item in stock continuously, but re-orders at long intervals. Between orders, selection gets sparse. Kohl's just reordered a large number of Dockers suits. If not in the retail stores now, they will be in a week. Thanks again, Indiangiver1. I was able to find out the foregoing from Dockers toll free number, which I got from their website. You nudged me in the right direction. By the way, it's a pretty good suit, considering the cost. It doesn't *look* cheap. Good fit. FB |
