According to a survey conducted by Hall & Partners, commissioned by M-Systems:

-  80% of respondents are using their USB flash drive for personal use
-  66% use these devices to exchange files with friends and family.
-  40% said that they either cannot live without the devices or that
they were dependent on them


Most Popular Files Stored on USB Drive:

File Type	Respondents
Music	        62%
Graphics      52%
Video	        46%

Work

- 64% of respondents who use USB flash drives for work stated that
they use the device for transferring work related files between work
and home.



The top two incentives for purchasing a USB flash drive are:
memory Capacity     61%
price               60%


67% percent of respondents stated that USB flash drives are a good
value for the money.


The average consumer values:

- Functionality of USB flash drives 
- Its ease of use
