I am working on a project where I need to work out how to get
authoring instructions on a DVD-ROM disk to read the disk key
information for the CSS protected DVD disk multiple times in the event
that the lead-in area is damaged or hard to read.

Since asking the question I have found out what I needed tyo know but
am prepared to pay the same amount for the answer to the following as
long as it is answered quickly...

I need to know how to use VM commands to capture an error when a DVD
players tries toi play a video file that is damaged before it
registers a fatal error and tries to spit the disk out... any ideas?

 VM = Java Virtual Machine .. yes? .. there are a lot of VM's out
there in the world.

And normally, the more information you can give us, the faster we can
answer the questions.. just a hint for the future.

Yes DVD VM and or MtFuji spec commands.
