I have mis-palced software to sync a Toshiba pocket pc to my gateway notebook computer with XP. Where can i get the software to sync the calendar, phone book, etc with the PC so that i have a backup of the pocket pc info. |

don't worry, the software is called microsoft activesync, distributed freely thru microsoft's website. new activesync version 3.8 can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync38.mspx if you're running older version of activesync, i recommend to remove it before installing. and, newer version of it works great on older pocket pcs. but, still, you're going to need microsoft outlook to get your contacts/appointments synchronized. this one is not free. i do hope you have a microsoft office with outlook on your laptop. |
