I'd like to know if there are wireless, remotely powered speakers I can buy for my laptop. If I could wirelessly send data across the room to a speaker system that would receive that data and play it. I imagine these speakers would have their own amplifier and power source, so good volume can be achieved regardless of the low energy signal comming form the computer. This is an offshoot form a recent question, and that ishallcallu-ga was perhaps speaking of this type of system. Although he may have been referencing unpowered speakers with wires. ://www.google.com/answers/threadview?id=587046 I've heard that TV surround sound systems don't need wires running to the back speakers anymore because the data can be sent wirelessly. And that perhaps bluetooth technology enabled that capability (don't know if this is the case though). I have a WinXP system. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Patrice |
