Hi, I have a question about credit scores. Does a checking account's
credit line play any part in coming up with your credit score? For
example, is the amount available to borrow from this credit line
included in your total amount to borrow? etc...

Also, is there a place I can go to on the web to find out information
about your credit score? Is there a number I can call?

Please provide documentation.

Thanks.

Thanks.

i always opt for the simple solution. while it seems logical to assume
that any open line of credit would be reported and evaluated in
arriving at your credit score we don't have to rely on assumptions.
call the bank extending the credit and ask them if they report to any
credit agencies. if they don't then it the agencies don't know it
exists and don't use it. if they do report, get a copy of your credit
report and see what is being reported.
