I would like to know which websites are most commonly used to find
shared accommodation in London, UK. Note, I am not looking for
websites that specifically detail whole houses / apartments for rent
but am looking for shared houses / apartments. A good answer for me
would be for example, ten of the most widely used websites (maybe
check internet traffic as an indicator?) to find shared accommodation
in London, UK (most of these websites probably wont be limited to
London)

You may have heard of craiglist, in London we have an equivalent
called www.gumtree.co.uk ? which is a pretty good website to find
everything from jobs to dates and is also great for finding shared
accommodation - which is what im interested in.

The following is an example of the type of  website that im looking
for and also seems to have a lot of traffic cross it;
www.spareroom.co.uk
So maybe , check out spareoom and gumtree and then come up with
similar ones which are as widely used if not more.

Thanks for the comment - altough all but two of the websites mentioned
in your comments are affiliated to spareroom.co.uk - ie when you place
an advert on spareroom.co.uk it will automatically list on other
websites. Ideally i need the most popular websites (i don't think that
www.sublet.com is one of the most popular for London. Search tip -
look at traffic accross each website. This information will be quite
valuable to me and i am willing to relfect this via tip - but it will
need a carefully researched answer, a quick search on google wont
suffice.
