Insurance company claims that the $15,000 that we paid the surgeon is too
high for a total abdominal hysterectomy with removal of ovaries. They
say 9,800 is the usual and customary fee for New York City. Can anyone
provide data that shows that $15,000 is an approporiate fee. Diagnosis
code is 58150.
