Unfortunately, Amos has offered to pay me only if I can identify both
pieces of information, and he assures me that there is a record of the
high school info online.  He indicates someone should

edelman ] turned up an article from The Post-Standard (Syracuse, NY)
dated October 11, 1987, which reported the results of a writing
contest:

STATE'S TOP HIGH SCHOOL JOURNALISTS HONORED
"...Best Columnist...Amos Edelman, Silent Noise, City Honors School,
Buffalo, second [place]..."
