I would like to receive a comprehensive list of ALL of the possible
Vocations that there are in the world. All of the different ways/job
descriptions there are that people may be seeking employment for.
This is asking you to really find the detail, which may require
digging deep and /or wide.

Are you aware of the Dictionary Of Occupational Titles (DOT) Index?

http://www.theodora.com/dot_index.html

Thank you for that - I would still like to have it all in ONE text
file. So would love for someone to create such a list document in the
one file (vs clicking onto the different letters and going to the
different pages) - it is fine to use that as your source.

Hi Bobbie7,

Thank you for that. Seeing the magnitude of the list and the still
very raw form that it comes in,I am thinking of reposting, however
since you have started this for me, I would like to know if you would
be happy to give me:

* a list of the 500 most popular jobs in the US

Presented in a document: in title case ie: University Lecturer; 1 per
line and no repetition of jobs.

For an extra $20 USD

Can you please let me know if you are happy to do this before I repost it.

Thank you bobbie7,

I really appreciate you doing that.

I am wanting to get it down to a 500 listing from A-Z - so the top 500 jobs.

And it is about having it in such a way that it reads:

Accountant
Auditor
Administrative Assistant
Cargo And Freight Agent
Airline Steward
Airline Pilot
General Manager Automotive
Product Manager FMCG
Secretary

And so on - so 500 from A-Z

And I am not wanting any comma's between the words, with each job on a
single line in title case.

Is this something you would be able to help with?

Is there a source that list the top 500 jobs?

As I have found sources myself that have 125,000 vocations, and I
recognise that is just too many to ask anyone to go through and tidy
up as I require. That is why I have bought it back to 500.

And if you used just that list you sent the link to me on, you might
only get partway through the A's and you would have come to 500. And
I really want to have the top 500 from A-Z.

Thanks for coming back to me, it is appreciated. I do hope you can assist.

Best regards

Thank you so much Bobbie7 for both coming through with the goods, and
also being flexible enough to continue to 'dance' with me when the
goal posts changed. It is sincerely appreciated and I am VERY happy
with the results.

400 is close enough to 500 for me (and certainly better than wading
through 125,000 odd jobs - I certainly did not appreciate it would
have been that extensive when I first posted the request).

I hope others appreciate your assistance as much as I do.

I have added $20 to the total - as offered, and also another $15 as a
big fat thank you!

:)
