Is there such a thing as a USB 2.0 to Firewire converter? Since I only

faster Firewire speeds with certain USB 2.0 devices.

I've seen converters to allow you to connect Firewire devices to USB
2.0, but not vice versa. Why not get a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card for your
laptop?

I have an apple ibook which doesn't have an expansion slot. I wish it
were that easy!
