For extremely detailed drawings, I recommend the United States Patent Office. Many examples of laparoscopes can be found here: "Laparoscope" USPTO (2005) http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2Fsearch-bool.html&r=0&f=S&l=50&TERM1=laparoscope&FIELD1=TTL&co1=AND&TERM2=&FIELD2=&d=ptxt To view the drawings, click on the patent's number or title, and then click the Images button. You will want to install AlternaTIFF if you do not already have it (click the Help button for information). It is a free plug-in. Some very basic, not very detailed diagrams are found at these two sources: "Laparoscopy" Endoscopy.MD (2004) http://www.endoscopy.md/laparoscopy.html (larger) "Mini Laparoscopy" Olympus (2005) http://www.olympus-europa.com/medical/427_Mini_Laparoscopy.htm (very small) I hope one or more of these sources meets your needs. Sincerely, Wonko |
