With ATM machines you will usually run into two limits, one is a limit
from the ATM - that is proably the $300 limit you run into locally.
Here in New York City it depends on the ATM you are using. A non-bank
ATM in a deli usually limits you to $100 and a bank ATM will usually
let you get out $1000.

Your bank will also have a limit on how much can be taken out on a
bank card in a day. You'd have to call your bank to get the limit for
your account.

Casinos do have other ways of getting money out, credit card advances, etc.

The ATM machines in Atlantic City allow you to take out "ANY AMOUNT OF
MONEY" as long as you have it in your account. If you are using a
credit card with a limit of $10k, you can take out $9998.00 out. If
you are using a debit card from your bank account it depends on your
financial institution. Some banks or credit unions do restrict the
daily withdrawl from checking accounts to $300+. Ofcourse, the
previous does not affect checks being cleared that day. For instance,
if your bank has a limit of $500/day for using the debit card and you
buy a $480 item from K-mart then you write a check at Kroger's for
$200 both transactions will go through.

Good luck,
