I am trying to find out the author and title of a now unavailable book
I saw mentioned in a magazine article. Also, I think that the text of
the book is available online somewhere, and I would like the link to
it.

Here's what I remember:

The article was published within the past two years.

The book was written by a little girl, the age I'm not so sure about.
Could be somewhere between 8 and 16, I think.

Part of the book takes place in the fourth dimension. The details of
the book and the creativity involved surprised the writer of the
article, as he found it strange that so young a person could write so
complicated a narrative.

I think that the book is either out of print or was never published
widely. There definitely is, however, a complete copy available for
view online. There was a link to the text of the book in the magazine
article.

I think I recall the girl suffered from some sort of mental disorder
or maybe just had health problems. Also, I seem to remember that she
is dead now and died fairly young.

I think the book was written within the past forty years, probaly in
the seventies or eighties.

I seem to think that the article was in Esquire, but maybe a similar
magazine. The article took up less than half a page. There was a
photo of the girl. I think she had brown hair. I think the article
was on the lower half of a left hand page.

THANK YOU!

Hi questionaskerguy,

Is there anything else you can remember about the story? Perhaps a
part of the girl's name, a part of the title of the book, a part of
the link, etc. Any detail, no matter how small, may help in this
search. Thanks.

Best wishes,
Rainbow

Some stuff that I vaguely remember from the article:

I think the story was described as surreal, but not the typical
fanciful creations of a child, but rather fairly complex ideas about
time and space that would be considered out of the grasp of a child.

I think that there were talking shapes or other anthropomorphic things
that went into the fourth dimension. The fourth dimension thing could
be wrong, but I really seem to remember that being a big part of it.

I think the article's premise was the writer reminiscing about how he
remembered reading the book and wondering what the author would be
like. I think maybe that he was roughly the same as the girl would
have been had she not died.
