Hi,

I am trying to find quantitative research on employee ownership models
and their effectiveness in healthcare organizations. Specific
questions I am trying to answer include:

a. What was the precise model? (stock options for doctors, bonus
systems for nurses etc.)
b. What were the metrics? (number of patients, satisfaction of
patients, hospital profit etc.)
c. Was the plan effective (were doctors happier/more
prductive/effective, were nurses singing merrily as they worked etc.)
d. Were there problems? Did the model change over time? What were the
lessons learned?
e. How many healtchare systems have tried a model like this? How many
succeeded? etc.

Although US is of specific interest, research from other parts of the
world are also welcome.

Thanks!
