Which platform, which game?

There's no intrinsic reason why they shouldn't be compatible; it's
rare that information that depends on the monitor/tv frame rate goes
into a save-game file; which is usually information about the
game-state..(score, level, energy, lives, baddies, that kind of
thing..).

However UK versions of games are usually based on a "European" version
rather than a US one, so it's quite possible there will be differences
in the format for the US & UK versions. It depends on the game. So the
only real answer is "try it and see"...

Game saves are compatible on xbox, bought some games in english (at a
very little price in USA) and then bought some of them in French,
saved games were recognized and working.

There shouldn't be any problem even with other platforms, saved games
are mainly numbers, codes, coordinates,... rarely text.
