I am looking for odds information for a full season of Major League
Baseball games. The information should be in the form of moneylines
(i.e. for one game, a +XXX or -XXX for each team, hwere XXX is a
3-digit number greater than 100). The information must come from a
legitimate gambling institution where bets could, at one time, have
been placed at these odds. In general, moneylines do not vary heavily
from one place to another, so any place will do. A subset of a full
season might be acceptable, but would depend on the nature of the
subset, at my discretion.
Also acceptable would be a script that could comb the web (or a
particular site) during the coming season to compile this information
day-to-day.
I have looked at all major gambling websites and vegas casino sites
and, predictably, historical data is not posted. If there is a full
season of cached webpages from these sites, it may contain the
information needed, but I don't have access to them (perhaps google
does?). www.madduxsports.com is a good site for this information on a
daily basis, so cached pages from their site might have the info. The
info is not easily accessible, so it would have to be obtained from
some roundabout way and then compiled, like through cached sites or
some kind of script to compile it day-by-day. Thanks, |
