The Company, Handy Dandy Products, is still incorporated in Michigan,
and you can view images of their Annual Reports with corporate
address, and if you look at previous images, you can see names and
addresses of officers. It appears to be the Dichtel family.

Please realize, this looks more like the inventor than the
manufacturer. It could be there is another company creating the now,

Thanks for your comments. Up to now I wrote to 5 companies called BJ
Industries. No answer yet.
It is very strange that there is no information on the net about the 
manufacturer. I wrote also to various chambers of commerce. No succes.
There are hundreds of stores and online shops world wide that sell the
Backjack. I want to import this floor chair to Germany for retail sale.
I don't give up. Maybe some body comes up with an idea how to find 
the secret manufacturer...
