We need to find a new laptop with a major manufacturer (Dell, IBM,
etc), that comes with a nine-pine serial port. Most new laptop do not
come with the serial connector anymore. The laptop needs to be new
(somewhere I can buy it online, perhaps) and have either a Pentium M
or Pentium 4 chip. We are not interested in any Celeron chips. RAM has
to be 512 MB with a drive of at least 40 GB. Optical drives are
optional.
