gixxer-ga,

A few things, if I may:

--you're not likely to find lists that include email addresses...you
may want to drop that requirement to make it more likely to receive an
answer

--lists are generally by religious affiliation -- Methodist,
Episcopal, etc -- rather than a single grouping for all Christian high
schools. Is there any way to further focus your request?

--generating a list is a large task, and probably can't be justifed
for a $10 fee...especially if you're in a rush.

Just wanted to get you some (hopefully) useful feedback on your question.

The email address is not vital to the list, however would be very
useful. You can focus the list to include the religious affiliation of
Baptist, Presbyterian, Assembly of God, Alliance, Methodist, and
Lutheran. The religious affiliation does not have to be included in
the name of the school.

I am more than willing to pay more depending on how well you can meet
the criteria as well as time frame. Thank you for your help.

gixxer-ga,

Here's a link to a spreadsheet file of more than 1,400 Christian high
schools in the US with an enrollment of 150 or more:

https://s42.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2NLFPW085T7SO3NX636V1FO2XV

Please save this to your local system, as the link is not permanent.

The file does not contain emails, alas. Nor can I attest to its completeness.

Have a look, and let me know what you think,

I am willing to use this database. You had mentioned that a $10 fee
was insufficient of this type of list. However, since you cannot
attest to it's completeness what price would you suggest as being
sufficient?

gixxer-ga,

I'm glad that database was enough to meet your needs.

The current price is fine, since the database comes with caveats
(don't they all???). By my posting an official answer, your account
will now be charged the fee you offered.

Glad we were able to help you out, and hope to see you back here one of these days.

My computer crashed and I lost all folders on the local machine. Is
there anyway to re-post the link, or maybe email me the link to the
database? At the link site, it states the file expires after a certain
time period or 25 downloads. I only downloaded the file once, so I was
hoping it might be recoverable? Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you.

Tyler,

Took me a while to find it (I work on three different computers, which
complicates my life no end), but here it is at last:

Once again, the link will expire in a few days, so make sure to save a
permanent compy locally.

In further review of the list, out of the 1400+ schools on the list,
almost half of these are schools belong to the NCEA (National Catholic
Education Association). Maybe I should have been more clear on the
definition of "Christian High Schools" as I don't believe Catholic's
fall under this title. Also, Catholics were not mentioned after being
instructed to focus on relifious affiliation (see Clarification of
Question by gixxer-ga on 10 Nov 2005 07:45 PST).

Because of this it is hard to find the list given satisfactory. It is
also hard to believe that only 700+ Christian schools could be found.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Further more, after visiting the AACS website, they claim to have
1,050 memeber schools in the U.S. This number does not include ASCI
(411 schools just in FL) or or NAES or NCSA (only 26 of close to 100
listed in your answer)

Just to clarify a few things:

--You asked only for schools with 150 students or more. According to
the Dept of Education, 83% of private schools have fewer than 150
students, so it is no surprise that many (or even most) schools are
not included on the list I provided.

--After you were given the opportunity to review the list, you agreed
that it was acceptable. If you would like different information at
this point, I would suggest posting a new question that carefully
defines what you need.

All the best for the new year,

paf

This does not explain why almost half the schools were Catholic, when
Catholic schools were not to be included.

The NCEA schools can easily be removed from the list, and that will
result in a smaller list that is more targeted to your interests.

Let me know if you need any assistance in removing the NCEA schools.

I am very much capable of highlighting and pressing the delete key.
Thank you for your offer. I'll post again when I have an actual more
complete list self-created. Maybe I can get a job @ Google.

OK.

Looking forward to seeing your follow-up question(s).
