Searching for a Chinese movie import of 1970's or 1980's I remember it
as Shogun's Women, about a diverse assortment of about a dozen women
kidnapped by Chinese or Japanese pirates. This was within a few years
of the time when Five Fingers of Death was imported to this county.

It is not "Revenge of the Shogun Women." However, you did advise me of
a site to buy the DVD, so I could verify it was not. I had wondered
before myself if that might be it. My description may not have been
quite adequate. I am certain it was a Taiwan or Hong Kong production,
probably Shaw Bros. Its' opening scene was on a beach with a sailing
ship, with I remember half a dozen or a dozen european women,
including at least one blonde. This is a start. I will send in another
request. Thank  you
