I am trying to quanitify the impact of news and press releases on a
equity price, for either US or Canadian public companies. However, I
have not been able to locate a tool that would allow the plotting of
such information on a candle stick chart. Is there such a tool
available (software or website) and if so, where? It also would be
very helpful to be able to classify the news release (ie a quarterly
report, change in board of directors, patent approval, etc) and to map
it over many stocks.
