When I uninstalled Google Desktop Search it took with it my home
page,Add and Remove Programs, Search,System Restore, and Recycle Bin,
plus I can't print from the internet. My home page and System Restore
will load the page but it's blank. I've tried using ispfix. and have
gone into the registry and deleted
Hkey_Current_User\Software\Google\GoogleDesktop. I used Add and Remove
Programs to uninstall it and I should have used the program's
uninstall, but too late. Any help out there?

What do you mean by "System Restore will load the page but it's blank"?

Try installing google desktop search again, then got to
start > all programs > accerories > system tools> sytsem restore
and try and restore your pc back to an early time if it works

My mother has been fighting this problem for a couple of weeks now.
She's about ready to install the OS. Did you find a cure?
