I'm looking for recommendations of smoke detectors to use in apartment
units. Some of the features I'm looking for are:

1. Nuisance alarm button to temporarily turn off the alarm.

2. Tamper resistant.

3. Good sensity, probably a dual-sensor model.

4. Either long (10yr) battery life or hard-wired.

5. Not too expensive.

Any other things I should be looking for in a smoke detector? I'd also
like to know prices and where to buy in bulk (i.e > 50).

One model which I like is the First Alert SA302. One thing I don't like
about this model is the ability to use a standard remote to
test/silence the unit. I've seen reviews where this caused problems
with the alarm going off when the unit was in a room with a TV.
