Dear tooza7264,
In 1976, the Swine Influenza vaccine was produced by the following four companies:
- Merck, Sharp & Dohme, Inc. (parent company: Merck Co., Inc.)
- Richardson-Merrell, Inc.
- Parke-Davis & Co. (parent company: Warner-Lambert Co.)
- Wyeth Laboratories, Inc. (parent company: American Home Products Corp.)
As for details on the composition and the ingredients of the vaccine
used in 1976, it proved to be impossible to find information. The only
thing that is clear is that the swine flu virus used for the vaccine
was A/New Jersey/76 (Hsw1N1). Apart from that, I could not find
reliable data anywhere.
Best regards,
Scriptor
