What is the absolute incidence of osteoid osteoma? The absolute
incidence and not as a percentage of all benigne bone tumors (12% of
all benigne bone tumors)

Hi doctorgooogle-ga,  I haven't been able to find the absolute
incidence, but I suspect that you can find it in the original source. 
The latest edition of the text is from 1996 and is based on a large
series of patients at the Mayo Clinic.  Most sources still site the
1986 edition.  Here's the reference:
