I missed the England v Argentina football (soccer) game on BBC TV on
Saturday 13th November 2005; see
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4420426.stm

The game finished 3-2 to England. It was
one of the best international football games in recent years and I
want to download or/and watch the game in full. What can I do online
to watch it?

Hello nellyfutardo-ga

Thank-you for your question.

Unfortunately I have been unable to locate any repeat showings of the
match in full in the forthcoming UK TV schedules (no doubt highlights
will be shown on Football Focus on Saturday but not the full match).

The match is though currently available on the BitTorrent network
which enables you to download the match in full. This is a popular
P2P file sharing network.

If you go to http://www.torrentz.com and search for "england
argentina", the results will provide you with a number of links to
enable you to download the match in full. Due to the nature of
torrents you should do this as soon as possible as less popular
torrents are removed more quickly from the bit torrent network.

To download the match you will need to be able to use and download
"torrent" files. Further information on this subject and software to
allow you to do this is available here:
http://www.bittorrent.com/FAQ.html

Other popular clients include Azureus
(http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) and BitComet
(http://www.bitcomet.com/).

You should also be aware of any legal issues that surround the
downloading of this material in your country. I am unaware of the
rules and regulations that govern the downloading of these files in
your country. I am also unaware of the copyright holder on the files
that you are requesting. You should also be aware of the disclaimer
at the bottom of this page.

I hope this helps. If you require any further information on this
subject please do not hesitate to ask for clarification. Enjoy the
match!

Great answer! I've actually learnt something new about the internet
with this too. Haven't downloaded the game yet to watch as I am
waiting for my broadband connection to be set up, but the game seems a
popular download so hopefully will be there for a while yet.
