Hello, I was accepted to carribean medical school in st. kitts. The school is called medical university of the americas. I would like to get some info on the school's reputations, if there are any graduates from this school, and if there are any residents from this school in the usa. I'm an American, but I would be considerd as IMG (international medical graduate)once I'm done with my education. I would like to know how hard is it for IMGs to get residency in the us? How many residency spot are posted for match each year? how do the residency spots get field by us graduates or imgs? Overall what is the outlook for medical doctors in the us. what field or speciality are the most shortages in? please help thanks |
