Is there a free spyware program that I can download to this good
computer and transfer it onto a floppy and run on a W2K computer that
has a corrupted OS ?
It might be a virus but the computer won't boot to a cd and it doesn't
have a way to change the boot sequence in the bios setup. Bios A07.
Under Boot Configuration, there are only 3 choices, Plug+ Play, Reset
Configuration which I tried to set to yes, but it didn't show what was
being reset so I put it back to no, and the 3rd choice was Numlock.
Pretty weird that it doesn't have this listed.

Take the hard drive out of the bad computer and put it in as a
secondary drive in the good one. When windows comes up and recognizes
the new drive, use whatever tool you want to scan the drive.

There's probably no DOS-based spyware scanners around, but you can try
running your existing, Windows based, Spyware scanners in safe mode --
it's worth a try. To get into Safe Mode, Press F8 just before the
Windows loading splash screen appears and you should be presented with
a boot menu. One of the options in the boot menu is "Safe mode".
Select it, boot into Windows (hopefully) and scan and remove the
spyware from there.
