Please help me find the complete verse or poem that starts out - 'fortune may smile for just a while...loves faded flower...kiss the day...' My father always said it as a toast and I would like to recite it at his funeral. Thank you for your help. |

Just to let you know I have been having a look around various sites for the verses you mentioned. Can't find anything specific. try http://www.bartelby.com as it has most major classical poets. kind regards researcher rcd-ga |

I'd swear it's a lyric from a 60's rock song I can't quite place, though of course, they may have lifted it. |
