Purplestaff, Google Answers does not allow contact by email, only by postings to your question here. I can understand your desire to have "the best 3 websites", but that cannot be varified, although I expect that a Researcher could provide three or maybe more "owner to owner" sites that seem to be reputable. Perhaps you could add a clarification to your question if you can accept an answer within these parameters. Good luck, Myoarin |

Purplestaff, I recently sold my home myself and I used http://www.ownerbuyerdirect.com. They had a lot of tools that many of the others do not and the basic listing is fre. However I also posted on forsalebyowner.com (which was fee based) and helpusell.com. |

Hi Purplestaff, you might want to check out Curbside Properties (http://www.curbsideproperties.com/) - They are a national website for 'for sale by owner' sellers. They offer a free listing product to promote your home for sale online with national exposure. You can also get a personalized yard sign and add other options for a small fee. Hope that helps! |

One thing I could suggest as well...is talk to a real estate agent that will NOT be doing business with you and ask for help with questions for the next guy. You can get find agents that will work for EXTREMELY low amounts of money if you know what you're talking about and promise to make it easy for them. Working in the industry, I can tell you I VERY MUCH appreciate a knowledgable buyer/seller/borrower that doesn't give me much of a hassle. You can find someone who gets paid on both the sale/purchase/loan and so will not need to charge you much at all as they're "double dipping". I'll be honest with you, I'm in the industry and try to make as much as I can...but if someone seems to know what they're talking about and it's fairly straight-forward...I'll do it for next to nothing on the promise of future business with that client. Try to find someone local to you that's like me? This is not a solicitation for my services. You can check out http://www.brokeruniverse.com/grapevine/ and you'll find a ton of us there that can help you out. If you're still convinced you want to go it yourself, these people will be able to point you in the right direction on that as well. |
