Question ID: 592966
What schools have PhD programs in Information Technology and
Education? I have found iSchools (information schools) in Washington
and Syracuse but I'm looking for more schools. I would like the names
of programs and maybe how they are involved in IT and Education. The
specific subject that interests me is the way technology shapes
education, such as wikis or blogs, new technologies, but not limited
to those. This could be in the education school or the IT school. I
am an undergraduate but I want to get my PhD, so this program would
have to be open to undergrads, not only masters students. I am
currently a Management Informations Systems major. I am open to any
schools in the US. Also, any information to help me find schools,
such as organziations, collaborations of schools, or conferences that
would steer me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thank You.

Can you be more specific about the programs you already
found...perhaps links to the relevant sites?

That would be a help.

Thanks,

At syracuse they list one of the programs as Information and
Education. At other schools it's harder to find the exact program.

Any information about the areas of concentration in these schools
would be helpful to find more programs that fit the Information and
Education area. I know most schools have broad programs so merely a
list of more schools that are related to the iSchools I have mentioned
would be appreciated. I hope this clarifies somewhat.
