Question ID: 593078
We were informed late today that we were to appear in court tommorow
for prelims. We were also told that the lawyers could not find a case
that ties the defendents to Missouri, thus preventing a change in
venue.

Petitioner: Hayti, Mo
Defendent: Dyersburg Manor Nursing Home, (Dyersburg, TN)
The nursing home maintains that they have not connection with Missouri
and thus a change of venue isn't legal.

In order to tie the nursing home to Missouri is through either:
1. Direct Advertisement
2. Court cases that involve them suing a Missouri based person or organization.
3. Other forms of proof are valid as long as they establish a direct
connection between the two.

Any type of answers must be recieved by 8:00AM Central Time 11.15.05 inorder to
be presented in court.

We live within 25 miles of Dyersburg,TN so it is probable that
advertising or other actions have occured in Missouri, not only that,
there are a number of patients who previously lived in town.

Obtaining justice is paramount in this instance, and anyones help is
greatly appreciated.
Thanx

The time limit has expired, however, a 20 day break was issued
allowing additional discovery, thus the question is still valid and
any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Your title states "time sensitive" so most researchers will assume
your deadline is past.

May I suggest reposting, with a subject line such as "Legal advice,
Missouri, please", which should target reaearchers with the focus you
need.
