I am an aspiring aloe vera farmer in Nairobi, Kenya. Below are
questions I have regarding the crop:

1. What are the soil requirements for successful aloe vera growing?
2. What is the ideal climate?
3. What are the main international trading organizations dealing in aloe vera?

Hello from Sierra Vista, Arizona

I grow Aloe Vera for fun..... I can tell you one thing for sure.  Do not
water very often - maybe once a week - but then a small amount.  This plant
does not dwell on water... you will kill it if you over water. 

Soil is base, low acid.
