Hi,
We're interested in moving from our current Linux sendmail (POP3/SMTP)
setup to a Blackberry solution.
We prefer hosted services where we point our mail traffic, very likely
a redirection of the MX record, to a company which will take care of
hosting and managing our emails along with virus and spam protection
which we had done on the old Linux sendmail system very successfully.
We seek a reliable and email focused Blackberry enabled service, no
enterprise applications or other non-email oriented service are
important, but are a good plus.
The users are going to start out at five and we'll move up to fifteen
at the most. We shall have one domain, but likely would like to know
what it takes to cover some other domains of ventures that we would
like to have enabled under our agreement with the provider of the
original domain to be hosted.
We do have a current offer from a provider including devices at a one
time price, we're wondering if these devices are going to be
frequently updated or are they coming up with new ones shortly that we
should try and insist on being provided at a good deal perhaps.
What are the versions of the software and hardware in use now and when
are the short term next new releases going to be available and what
are they expected to provide beyond the current ones.
Thank you.
