Dear robert1967,
Here is a postcard [1] of the Gaststätte Diana in Altenfurt (exterior
and interior view), as it was in the 1950s (the postcard was stamped
in 1960):

The reverse side of the postcard clearly identifies the location as
"Gaststätte Diana, Altenfurth b. Nürnberg, v. Hans Maul" (Restaurant
Diana, Altenfurth near Nürnberg, owner Hans Maul):

"Gaststätte" is an alternative term for "Gasthof" in German, so this
would make no difference. "Altenfuth" with an "h" is an outdated
spelling for what is "Altenfurt" today. Note that the postmark uses
the modern spelling "Altenfurt". Before 1972, when it became a
district of the city of Nürnberg, Altenfurt was an independent
township.

It would have been very helpful if you had mentioned the fact that you
already knew about this postcard in your original question. Google
Answers Researchers are, alas, not experts in mind-reading. Although
the original question has, in principle, been answered, I will see
what I can do to fulfill your additional request.
