Can you define "top"? People commonly ask for the "top 5" or "top 10"
without considering that there is often no official rating system for
many products. Along that same line, asking which product in in the
"top 5" by annual sales may actually render your question unanswerable
since that data is also often unavailable - and even when it is
there's no guarantee that some other better selling product is omitted
from a given list.

Would you consider accepting an answer that lists various popular
documentation systems so that you may investigate them and determine
which ones, in your own opinion, rank in the top five?

I am looking for inexpensive solutions.  The example that I put in my
note (Macromeida RoboHelp) costs about $500-1000.  Looking for
solutions that cost in that range.
