Hi,

I have a 3.6gb file that I compressed with WinRAR using max
compression and it resulted in a 1.7gb file. Would like to write it
on a CD, so deviding it into 620mb smaller chuncks would be ideal.

I tried splittur, but it runs out of memory.

I have read in the helo of WinRAR that it has the Volumes feature,
using the -vn parameter, but I haven't located how to use that on my
file in order to split it.

Help! :-)

The volumes feature is on the general tab of WinRar in the bottom
left. You can choose the 650mb or 700mb cd size.
