Sam, Here you go: http://www.census.gov/prod/2004pubs/04statab/fedgov.pdf Statistical Abstract of the United States: 2004-2005 Federal Government Finances and Employment There are several tables in this section that detail the expenditures of the federal goverment: No. 462. Federal Budget Outlays?Defense, Human and Physical Resources, and Net Interest Payments: 1990 to 2004 No. 463. Federal Budget Outlays in Constant (1996) Dollars: No. 464. Federal Outlays by Agency: 1990 to 2004 The greatest level of detail can be found in this next one: No. 465. Federal Outlays by Detailed Function: 1990 to 2004 I trust that does the trick, but let me know if there's anything else you need.
