What's the easiest way to shrink a cotton dress shirt?  I have a washer/dryer.

You can try washing the item in very hot water, then drying it at a
high temp, but one problem with shrinking a cotton shirt is that the
fabric and the thread often do not shrink equally. This can result in
puckering and unevenness in the appearance of the shirt that even
ironing cannot fix.
